Emergency food Help

We offer an emergency service, providing food parcels for those in an acute emergency and don’t have the means to buy food. The service is unable to provide long term or ongoing support.

Before approaching us, people will have already attempted to access other services, such as The Wirral Food Bank or have utilised one of the social supermarkets in the area. You can see a list of some of these if you click the ‘more help’ button, below. These offer food freely or accept money on a ‘pay as you can’ basis. There are sites at:

  • Delamere Community Centre,

Our emergency food service is open to those living in the parish of St Barnabas, or whose children attend one of the primary schools in the area. These are Woodslee, Mendell, Christ the King, Raeburn or Brookhurst.

We also accept referrals from anyone who is working with Involve Northwest and living in the South Wirral area.
