Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) Sunday 25th May
After the 11.00 am service
This is the equivalent of the Annual General Meeting of a charity. It is a chance to hear reports and to ask questions of the church leadership or to raise issues about which you have interest or concern.
Church Electoral Roll
The Church is required to renew its Electoral Roll every six years, and that is now upon us. Forms are available at the back of Church and in the Centre. Please complete your Electoral Roll form and return it to Ros by 8th May 2025. After that date, without a new form, you will not be eligible to vote in the 2025 APCM on 25th May (though once that meeting is over you can be added again). Any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me. 07724 866 155 Thank you. Ros
New PCC members
There will be a significant number of vacancies on the PCC this year. Is God calling you into this important roll in the life of our church? Not sure? Talk to me or to Ian W, Ian S, Thelma or Helene or anyone else who is a member. – Jenny
Pay by Card
You are now able to pay by card in the centre.
The Centre needs volunteers
We have been running this notice for some time now but with limited success. Any ideas about who can/would help? Speak to Thelma McGorry or Jenny Hope
Chat & Craft
Fridays from 9:30-12.00 noon in the Centre. A weekly ‘chat & craft’ session which is open to all. Just turn up or speak to Heather, Gill or Kay for more information.
Thanks again
Once again my grateful thanks to everyone for your attendance and contribution which helped to make our Holy Week and Easter Celebrations so special. An extra note of thanks to the new flower arranging team and of course those who helped us to pay for the flowers and to the choir who came to sing on Holy Saturday. But lots of you worked hard in other ways too and I am grateful.
Bible study on Wednesdays from 1pm at the Rectory.
We are not a secret society but a group open to all. No expertise expected. Capacity to laugh, listen, talk a bit, drink tea or coffee or water and eat biscuits essential. Each session stands alone so you can drop in on us. This week we will go back to Luke for a while.
