Parish Weekend at Foxhill 2027
The PCC has agreed that we will pursue the idea of a parish weekend away at Foxhill in March 2027. There will be the opportunity for people to attend residentially or to come for one or several days. Watch this space.
Bible Course – so far no one has expressed an interest
Some of you have done the Bible course and one or two others have approached to ask whether I can run this. It would be in the evening beginning in the first week of September. The course lasts 8 weeks and there will be no obligation to continue to meet after that. If you have done it before you can do it again assuming that there is room. I will run it as long as we have a minimum of 5 people interested. Please text, email or add yourself to the WhatsApp group in the St Barnabas Community called ‘Bible Course’. Depending on group preferences it will be a Tuesday or Wednesday evening. – Jenny

Mothers’ Union 150th Year Anniversary Fund Raising
Saturday 27th June 2.00-4.00pm in the Centre — a Strawberry Tea. Tickets available now in the Centre or phone Jenny Hope (077971699132). £5.00 adults, £2 school children, under 5s a smile.
Summer Concert
Saturday 27th June at 7.30pm — The Bel Canto Choir will be holding their Summer Concert in Bromborough Methodist Church. There will be the usual mix of Popular songs, Choral favourites, Solos from Terry with accompanying Poems and Prose. Tickets are £10 and there will be a Bucket collection to support Alzheimer’s Research. Thank you Ann Horrocks (0151 334 8252)
Funeral for Lt. Graham Jones
Graham’s funeral will take place on Monday 29th June at 1.30 pm in St Barnabas.
Poulton Hall Open Day
Saturday 4th July 2.00 pm – 5.00 pm — Open day at Poulton Hall, Bebington, CH63 9LN.
The gardens will be open between 2pm and 4pm raising much needed funds for Wirral Wildlife and New Ferry Butterfly Park. Adult admission is £6, or £10 to include a cream tea.

How we speak about or to one another is part of establishing a ‘safe’ church community whether we are in the church building, The Centre or out in the churchyard. It impacts all who work alongside us or use our buildings. Our values are there to be followed in our buildings or on our land by believers and those who are not.
